love this race. this year swimming for half distance was little bit longer ~2km in total, and got more time for that bike course was windy (nortada was strong) but the course has still amazing views (ocean side, Sintra, Lisboa) the running course was a little bit different, they've added new appendix .. to be honest there is some bad road sections, but overall good atmosphere and its nice (for half distance id say) so liked it and bought the next year slot already

i love the ocean swim in Cascais. I've already raced both the full and half distance races there. swim exit is challenging, with a steep uphill run to transition. bike course is amazing, with most of the climbing packed into the first 25–30 km, followed by the iconic Formula 1 circuit in Estoril and a beautiful coastal section along the ocean. The run course is quite hilly, so it's definitely not the easiest race if you're aiming for a personal best.
